DMT – niente di personale [alla ricerca del terzo occhio]

"Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is a naturally-occurring tryptamine and potent psychedelic drug, found not only in many plants, but also in trace amounts in the human body where its natural function is undetermined. Many cultures, indigenous and modern, ingest DMT as a psychedelic in extracted or synthesized forms."

In China, the toad venom or Chan Su or senso in Japanese, has a long folk use as an anesthetic, for heart aliments and as a reputed aphrodisiac. The venom is “milked” from glands of the Bufo bufo gargarizans Gantor or Bufo melanostictus though, again, one hears anecdotal evidence of other species with different effects. Though toxic, it is in traditional formulas, Liu Shen Wan (Six Miracle Pill) for example, to remove blood toxicity and modern research links it with anti-cancer effects (Ko et. al. 2005). It is uncertain as to what extent toad venoms were used in Chinese history as all manner of toxic substances were employed by Chinese Daoists, alchemists, shamans and necromancers. As Needham’s nearly exhaustive research on substances exploited in alchemy (and industry and medicine) it seemed the more exotic or potentially toxic the better. This paper presents some “iconographic and mythological representations” of an entheogenic use in China and Japan, perhaps especially associated with Chinese mystics and “Sennin” hermit/immortal cults of Japan. Needham (1983) writes of the toad that it "was vital for making the enchymoma. The flesh of the toad, moreover was valued as an aid to prolengevity and immortality by some ancient Taoists."

"This species occurs widely from northern Pakistan through Nepal, Bangladesh, India (including the Andaman and Nicobar Islands), Sri Lanka, southern China (including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau), Myanmar, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Viet Nam, Thailand and Cambodia to Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia (Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Anambas Islands and Natuna Islands, introduced to Bali, Sulawesi, Ambon and Manokwari, New Guinea (northeastern portion of the Vogelkop Peninsula, centred on Manokwari). It has been recorded from sea level up to 1,800m asl."

"At this stage the pineal gland also starts to produce the neurohormone 5-MeO-DMT. This psychoactive tryptamine is highly luminescent; it is also extremely phosphorescent due to the amount of phosphene that it transmits onto the visual cortex.
The neurotransmitter 5-MeO-DMT (‘akashon’) is normally only active when we are in the womb and in the first months of our lives. It is now reactivated in the darkroom. 5-MeO-DMT switches on 40% more of the cerebral cortex and awakens the nervous system to become aware of itself; ‘beingness’ results. It is the empathogenic neurotransmitter that expands the emotional body between ‘infinity and zero’. It gives rise to telepathy in the emotional and intuitive bodies. It engages the awakening of the ‘Flower Of Life’, the spine, which begins to glow in a state of beingness and peace. 5-Meo-DMT discharges the darkness from the darkroom. A bright light will be activated. This Great White Light, the manifestation of the astral body, enables the self to project externally.

There is now enough ‘Mono Amine Oxidase Inhibition’ triggered by the pinoline, to allow the pineal gland’s ‘serotonin to melatonin cycle’ to be intercepted by adrenaline and ephedrine activity and converted into a ‘serotonin – DMT pathway’. When DMT levels reach more than 25mg, one’s experience can become very visual. DMT is the visual third eye neurotransmitter. It enables the energy body and spirit to journey into hyperspace, beyond third dimensional realms of time and space. It is intensely energizing. At this stage of the Dark Room Retreat, the required amount of sleep tends to diminish dramatically. Although the day may last 24 hours, 3 hours of sleep can seem like 12."

    ma funziona questo coso?

  3. neri
